WINDOWS XP

Application to Mod the driver so the system accepts it
-> http://www.driverhea...ol/download.php
Install
1) Disconnect from internet so windows doesn't automatically installs a driver itself;
2) Go to Add/remove programs and uninstall Catalyst Control Center;
There is also an ATI INSTALLATION MANAGER (uninstall it too if you have it there)
3) Go to Device Manager and Uninstall your Graphics Card (put the mark where it says to remove all of the software);
If Windows Vista automatically looks for Drivers and installs them don't worry. Just let it install it. This might happen after reboot too
4) Reboot your Laptop.
5) Install MobilityModder (Follow instructions on Mobbility Modder Website if you dont know how to use it)
Mobility Modder guide here: http://www.driverhea...net/modtool.php It is basically what is says below
6) Run the driver file and let it extract to C:\Ati\support\9-3_vista32_win7_32_dd\, after it extracts close the New Installation window (DO NOT INSTALL just extract).
7) Open MobilityModder and browse to the folder where it extracted the driver i supposed its C:\Ati\support\9-3_vista32_win7_32_dd\ .
Click Modify;
9) After its done, close MobilityModder and go to C:\Ati\support\9-3_vista32_win7_32_dd\ and click setup.exe;
10 Let it install and if it says that the driver is not verified click on install it anyway.
IF:
Installation Crashes for unknown error, try clicking on "Try checking online for a solution" and of course make sure u restart Internet connection before clicking it.
My bro laptop's is like mine but he had some compatibility issues, so i just downloaded for him the HOTFIX that Microsoft suggested after clicking "Try checking online for a solution" and that solved the issue.
11) Reboot again and be amazed, at least i was!
IF:
By any chance when you reboot the ATI Catalyst Control Center ICON is not in your Windows Bar on the Bottom Right, means the installation didn't go well.
Go to: C:\Program Files\ATI\CIM\Bin and Run SETUP.EXE and let it install again. Reboot and now the icon should appear.
If you have problems rebooting (i.e blackscreen) click on the power button until laptop powers off, Power On again, and in the respective window Select "Start in Safe Mode". Let it load Windows, then Restart. That should solve it.
Good, the text should be Clear now.
I run it on 1024x768 with AUTO aspect radio and it works fine, i don't add the max 1440x900 for More FPS.
By The Way, not sure if is important, but i must add that i CHOSE NOT TO INSTALL DIRECT X and Microsoft C++ During MW2 installation in My laptop. In the PC i installed both and had no Issues but PC Cars is ATI Radeon HD 3650.
